SafeLock Memories ("we," "us," or "our") helps you create digital time capsules — photos, videos, voice notes, and written messages — to be delivered to yourself or loved ones on a future date. We take the privacy of your memories seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
By creating an account or using SafeLock Memories, you agree to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service below.
Basic technical data such as browser type and general usage, used only to keep the service running and secure.
We do not sell your personal information or the contents of your memories to anyone. Ever.
Your capsules and files are stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). Access is restricted so that only you — and the recipients you designate, on the delivery date — can view your content.
While we take strong measures to protect your data, no online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account login secure.
We share data only with trusted service providers needed to operate SafeLock Memories:

These Terms govern your use of SafeLock Memories. By creating an account you agree to them. You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian's consent) to use the service.
Paid plans are billed as a one-time annual charge and do not auto-renew — your plan simply remains active for 365 days from purchase, after which it reverts to Free unless you renew. Because plans grant immediate access to storage and features, payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll make it right.
You choose the date each capsule unlocks. On that date, we email the recipient a secure link to view the capsule's contents. While we make every reasonable effort to deliver capsules reliably and on time, we cannot guarantee delivery against events outside our control (e.g. an invalid recipient email, a recipient's spam filter, or third-party service outages). We recommend confirming recipient email addresses are correct.
You agree not to use SafeLock Memories to store or send anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, infringing, or harmful. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these terms or applicable law.
SafeLock Memories is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
We strongly encourage you to keep your own copies of irreplaceable photos and videos. SafeLock Memories is a delivery and preservation service, not a sole backup.
